One of the things I’m trying to do more this year is reach out to my colleagues for cartoon inspiration. As much as I could just sit and cartoon daily from the thoughts bouncing around in my head, reaching out for cartoon ideas really tests me and, ultimately, produces cartoons that are more meaningful.
The following idea came from Sheila Kohn of the PK-12 Educational Evaluation TIG. My cartoon follows.
With regard to technology, I’m a huge fan. The barriers I usually encounter are figuring out how I can meaningfully use something really cool in my work (I’m currently fascinated with wallwisher), and how to find the time and the wherewithal to teach others (especially the techaverse and the techphobes)how to use that technology. Is there a cartoon in there somewhere?
Sheila is considering starting a blog of her own, something I highly endorse. If you know her, encourage her.
