Early Kermit and visual thinking

Is it strange that I’m in research but my greatest heroes are puppeteers, cartoonists, and kids’ book authors?
I’ve been reading and watching a lot of Jim Henson stuff lately.  I bet if he had lived another decade, with his love for new media and experimentation, he would have been tearing it up on the web.  It’s amazing how much he made  happen well before there was such an open platform.
I came across this old Sam and Friends sketch (circa late 50s) with early Kermit and wanted to share.  This one is for all the visual thinkers out there.
