I often get requests for logic model cartoons so I’ll be creating a few new ones. To hold you until that point, here is a set of six from my archives.
If you’re one of my Patrons, I uploaded the set as a Power Point slide deck earlier today.

Cool! A couple of my favorites were included in this post! And I love that neither of them include any direct reference to a logic model…
Harold Jarche talks about knowledge management (KM). Logic models seem to be a form of KM. Jarche uses another graphic to demonstrate what he is talking about. (See his blog, Life in Perpetual Beta [http://www.jarche.com/2014/03/simple-approach-to-km/] for the graphic.) Makes me think of other ways to represent logic models. Perhaps you could do cartoon that have models NOT in linear boxes?
These cartoons will help explain logic models to folks who find the need perplexing…even those who say my project is too complex…:)
Molly.
Thanks for the input Molly, my next set will most certainly feature a model that’s not of the linear box type.
Anyone else have suggestions for future logic model cartoons?
Love #1. I think this is how it works sometimes, people know a non-profit does something good and they just give them money without understanding exactly how they do what they do.
Thanks Sean,
There are often so many competing interests involved with an evaluation (fundraising, marketing, politics, etc.). It makes for an interesting field.

Thanks Jeff,
Considering a couple of these were created directly for our collaboration, I’m glad to hear it 🙂

My models look like #2…literally. Glad to see Mother Goose made the cut. She’s my favorite.

I know a guy who might be able to create a computer simulation out of it 😉
