Tableau Dashboards

We collect tons of data every single minute of every single day.  Unfortunately, not all of that data is in a format or location where we could access it and start to understand the lessons embedded within.

If it has been awhile since you’ve considered dashboarding, there are a couple things you should know.
First, Tableau has released more server connection options over the years, including some very important additions.  Namely Google sheets, Dropbox, and OneDrive.  This means less downloading and more direct auto-updating data connections to the sources you are using on a regular basis.

Second, the pricing structure has changed.  The upfront costs to launch a Tableau server implementation used to start at $12,000.  But with the new pricing formula, you can get started with Tableau Online for as little as $112/month and even have a 5 person implementation of Tableau Server for less than $3,000/year.
No, it’s not cheap, but for many projects it is do-able and easily scalable.
